The Bay Area is filled with many homes and buildings that are incredibly rich in history. If walls could talk, they would tell many tales of shared bottles of wine, great conversations with friends over dinner, cries and coos of newborn babes, the giggles of children, the scoffing of teenagers and the silence of an empty nest, all too soon to be filled again with the sounds of grandchildren!
The history of homes in the Bay Area has always been interesting to me. I was especially excited to learn that this beautiful home in Mill Valley, now inhabited by Katy, James and Lucy had been in Katy's family for over 3 generations. She showed me a spread of beautiful images hanging on the wall that were taken in this home over the years; of her grandmother, her father, her and her sister when they were little. At the end of this framed photo spread, there were two spaces where they were wanting to hang a couple from our session once shot, edited and printed.
I was so honored to be called to produce images of the latest generation in this home!
Here is a sneak peek from our session this weekend. With this cutie-pie, getting some great shots for those spaces on the wall was an easy feat. The hard part will be choosing which two! :)
